Lots of things happening as of late!!!

Hello one and all. Yes, I know. It's been a while since I last posted something on here but a lot has happened within the past two months and I'll tell you one thing, I'm actually excited for the future now.

Today I started working at Blueprint Design Studio where they concentrate mostly on web design and menu design. And even though for my first day I was making copy changes (easy, breezy stuff) I was assured by one of my coworkers that I won't be doing this anymore or for much longer. I would actually get to design REAL stuff and have projects that I can be excited about. I want to point out that my friend Lauren that I went to school with at Columbia gave me this opportunity to intern for them and I'm so grateful that she did! XD

Next, I have an interview with Mr. Steve Chapiro this upcoming Monday. He is a world renowned photographer, where his work have been featured in Time, The Rolling Stones, Life, Vanity Fair. The list goes on and on! Anywho, I'm very excited about it and I hope I get to work with him. ^_^

Alrighty, that's it people. I've been feeling so accomplished with myself lately and I hope I can continue on this streak for a very LONG time!

The Website Thus Far...

Over the past few months I've been creating a website. The gathering of the photos for the individual portfolio pages (which took a while I must add due to turning pdf's in jpg's and then cropping them and so forth), choosing a color scheme, and arranging everything to make it user friendly, has been a daunting but such a rewarding experience. However, even though it is finished and even though I like it very much, there are two things which have yet to be done.

1) Purchasing a domain name.
2) Adding some sort of themed background to go with the existing illustration that is already there.

I have included a screenshot of the main site and would delighted to read any suggestions you might have to make some changes to it.

There's always a first for everything

Well everyone, congratulations, you have stumbled upon my first blog and my first blog entry ever! I took the advice of my former supervisor, Cole, and decided to make one of these. I think this will be a good thing because A) I can talk about my graphic design projects that I am working on and B) maybe have some people comment on some of my designs and see what others have to say about them.

That's all I have to say right now. I'll definitely have more things to say when I progress this further, but for right now, that's it.

Now it's time to eat!
